Interoperability with Other Repositories

A number of developments to note:

 

 

On the liaison front, in 2007/03 there was a phone meeting with one of the coordinators of the ANTS project. They've very happy to collaborate. Their focus is animated tutorials for database guides, so it's not much overlap with what we have in mind.

 

On technical interoperability, all of these repositories share OAI records. Therefore it is possible to point an OAI harvester at all the repositories and then create a search engine which would allow searching of all of them simultaneously. Gordon will investigate.
