Fall '08 Laud a Librarian: Prize Winners!

The awards ceremony took place at the ALPS meeting on December 5. Click here to see video of the award ceremony.

This year librarians from around the province of BC contacted the committee identifying great guides and learning objects created by their colleagues. We are in process of contacting the creators for permission to include their learning object in ALPS LINK. This will help other librarians discover that learning object too. With Laud a Librarian, we continued the tradition of providing access to the great librarian learning objects to develop and use in our instructions.

The winning objects include database guides, information literacy tutorials, animated tutorials, a wiki knowledge base and much more. The full list of winners is below, with links to each object. There is a powerpoint on the ALPS website with images of each winning object. The awards are listed in alphabetic order by author.
